Jeff is a jazz lover and a longtime patron of Hermann’s. He joined the AoV board in 2022. He has over 30 years of management and project leadership experience, with 20 of those years with IBM, where he led business development of IBM’s healthcare and life sciences practice in British Columbia. He retired in 2019. Born and raised in Winnipeg, he came West for University and just never went back. An avid fisherman, and a student of the guitar, Jeff enjoys being on the water and jamming with friends.

The Arts on View Society was incorporated for the purpose of preserving Hermann’s Jazz Club and continuing to enhance the public’s appreciation of jazz, blues and world music through all-ages live performance. As the longest continuous running jazz club in Canada, Hermann’s has been at the forefront of providing the opportunity for local and visiting musicians to showcase their talents and hone their skills for the past 40 years.

The Arts on View Society operates Hermann’s Jazz Club, Hermann’s Upstairs, and the View Street Social.
