Personally I have experienced Hermann’s Jazz Club from the point of view as a fan of music and as a performer… I first played the venue in 1979 with my band Uncle Wiggly’s Hot Shoes Blues Band and have played there in the past two years on several occasions. It is the one venue in Victoria that offers the audience a concert experience where people are very quiet and hang on every note the band is playing.

The roster of acts they present is always top notch. The service and food at the venue is terrific and they always treat bands and patrons with the utmost respect.

Hermann’s has a loyal following of music lovers that go a minimum of once or twice a month. They bring in some great touring acts from time to time and are a mainstay in supporting the local Jazz and Blues scene.

it would be very sad for the music community to lose this legendary venue considering that Hermann himself put a good portion of his life into building the rooms reputation and always supported us local musicians. His legacy should live on.

The community needs this venue for the the fans and musicians.

Please help save Hermann’s.
If you need my band to donate time for a fundraiser count us in.

Best Regards
