Ed and Kathi Low

My husband and I have been attending the performances at Hermann’s Jazz Club at least weekly for about a year, now. We enjoy the phenomenal local jazz talent that we have here in Victoria, but it’s not just that that keeps us returning week after week. It’s the sense of community that we feel when attending Hermann’s. We are particularly impressed with the sense of camaraderie, support and respect shown by the musicians for other musician’s talent and musical abilities and the way that the experienced musicians mentor and support the up and coming musicians and the student musicians – be they university or high school students. Hermann’s brings community together in support of the arts and acts as an incubator for the promotion of the arts. The music played at Hermann’s creates community. We support Hermann’s because we believe in community and in the value of what Hermann’s has accomplished and intends to do. Ed and Kathi Low
