Hermann’s Jazz Club was the first place I played in Victoria as a guest conductor with the Victoria Jazz Orchestra, and the venue is a wonderful place supporting Canadian jazz musicians and bringing world class jazz to Vancouver Island. Closing the club would mean losing a vital part of Canada’s jazz scene and yet another live music venue; don’t do it!
